Two friends, fed up with
job hunting, built a tool.
FutuRole isn’t a company. It’s a side project that got out of hand — two friends shipping an AI job search tool from their bedrooms because the existing ones were either too expensive, too dumb, or both.
Why we built it
We’d both been through the modern job hunt: 200 applications, 3 replies, 1 interview. ATS filters rejecting perfectly good resumes because the keyword density was off. Hiring managers we couldn’t find. Generic outreach that landed in spam.
We tried the tools out there. Some did one thing well and charged $30/month for it. Some bundled six things and did all of them badly. None felt like they were built by people who’d actually job-hunted recently.
So we started writing the thing we wanted. ATS scanner first, then resume tailoring, then the hiring-manager finder, then the whole pipeline. We use it ourselves. We break it ourselves. Then we fix it, usually the same day.
